 News 1-09-05 ------GIG------ Just booked.. 17th December @ The Bull and Gate, Kentish Town ------GIG------ We a currently working on another new song which we hope to have ready for this gig! 6-10-05 Thanks to everyone who came along to see us at sound, was a great night and we so pleased to have so much support, photos from the gig should be going up soon 1-09-05 ------GIG------ 5th October @ Sound, Leicester Square ------GIG------ 31-08-05 Well the new website is up and running so have a look around and see what you think, any comments email movietheband@popstar.com. The early part of this year has been spent working on some new songs and getting them polished upto standard. Two of the new songs were premiered on friday and we were pleased with how they've turned out. 16-12-04 Recording is going well. Now have all the instruments down and vocals are being done at present. It's all sounding good, can't wait to hear the finished product. The recording has been a very useful process in terms of developing the songs further and seeing what works together and what doesn't. 05-12-04 --Gig news-- We now have two gigs booked for 2005. 28/1/04 We will playing at the Dublin Castle and 24/2/04 we will be returning to the w14 in west kensington. 23-11-04 A succesful day of recording was had yesterday. Mark and Phil managed get fabulous recordings of the drum tracks for four songs down: Over the Hill; Avalanche, Ghostman and Wake Up Blind. The aim is to now get the guitars and vocals down before christmas. We are hoping to have down initial copies of all four songs before new year to send off to producer Ville Lepannen who has taken a keen interest in working with the band in the future. The songs may also be polished up for demo purposes and who knows my be available to purchase at Movie gigs in the new year. pictures 22-11-04 Almost a year after recording their first two track demo. The boys are going into Unit9 studios with previous movie producer/engineer Phil to lay down the drum tracks for a spanking new set of songs. |
